Ink Field

A landscape composition draws ink, sienna, and a quieter trace of vermilion into a still exchange. A deep sense of field emerges from their relation. Visual weight is dispersed across the surface, asking the eye to move without a fixed resting point. Broad pauses allow each tonal change to register with unusual clarity. Its shadowed, soft-contrast register holds exposure and concealment in suspension. What first appears stable gradually reveals a more private internal pressure.
