Slate Gravity

A landscape composition draws slate, bone, and a quieter trace of viridian into a rhythmic exchange. An inward sense of gravity emerges from their relation. Visual weight gathers toward the left before releasing into the remaining field. Layered passages make depth felt without breaking the flat authority of the surface. Its balanced, measured-contrast register holds stillness and urgency in suspension. What first appears stable gradually reveals a more private internal pressure.
